3 Decor Trends for 2018

We are excited to see what’s new in home decor this year. Already inspired, we have began to use these 3 Decor Trends for 2018 in Fluff’s staging projects. These are our predictions for 2018:

BLACK WIRE

We are seeing a lot of black wire decor and furniture on design blogs right now. We are especially loving matte black bases on chairs and tables as an alternative to brushed nickle, chrome or another metal. If you want to try it in your home, grab yourself a classic Bertoia Chair, a grouping of vases, or a wire basket with pillows and throws.

Here is a sampling of some of the black wire decor Flüff currently has in stock.

STATEMENT RUGS

Rugs with bold colours and strong patterns are making their way into 2018. Textured rugs are still popular, but with unique details and colours.

We’ve ordered hundred of rugs this season and this is our new favourite. The faux marble print is interesting and the neutral colours work in any home.

SOFT ORGANIC COLOURS AND TEXTURES

A post shared by Florian Gadsby (@floriangadsby) on

More and More we see ceramics, textiles and decor in natural materials and soft earthy colours. We think that this reflects a need to restore calm and practice peace. This is a trend we are especially on board with. Because it speaks to the whole team, we have introduced more raw materials into our inventory for the new year….Namaste.

Here is a little of what Fluff has to offer in natural, organic decor.

There is still a lot to be decided about where design will go this year and we can’t wait to see what stays and what goes. For now, we are happy with these 3 Decor trends for 2018 as we wait to see how the year unfolds! Happy New Year.
