We think it’s time for some boho patio inspiration for spring. All of the sunshine this week has the Flüffians dreaming about outdoor lounging! For this post we wanted to show off our fantastic patio inventory and give some ideas for creating a casual patio space.

Rattan is totally popular right now. We used both a classic wooden rattan and a modern plastic version for our 2 looks. Classic rattan is a great option if you have a covered patio, however we recommend in a climate like Vancouver, using the versatile plastic version. Patio furniture comes in so many cute styles and colours… these days there is something for everyone.

Look #1 – Dining in the great Outdoors

Our first vignette is a patio dining room styled with wooden rattan chairs. The black chairs and rustic table are softened with printed pillows and fun patterned bowls. We like to layer and keep it casual when dining in the great outdoors. We see this as the perfect backdrop for hosting friends and serving up your favourite summer meal!

Look #2 – Lounging in the Summer Sun

For our second vignette we paired two modern lounge chairs with more organic materials in neutrals to create a desert vibe. A touch of colour keeps the scene from looking flat and adds a pop to the relaxed look. Imagine being poolside in Palm Springs with a coffee and the newspaper!

Okay it’s not summer yet, but it’s almost spring! Let’s start dreaming about sunshine and patio weather… we can’t wait.
