Furniture Inspiration

< inspo home

With a focus on trends like mid-century modern, and Scandinavian influenced pieces, we think it can be hard to find unique furniture pieces for your home. We have searched far and wide and pulled our favourite images for furniture inspiration. Industrial, kitschy, clean and minimal, there is something for everyone.

 ChairsFurniture1

We love the look of these chairs, they are unlike anything else in the market right now! The left upholstered chair has a unique approach to tufting. The stitching creates interest in the design, and the white legs are very different from the sea of mid-tone walnut we are seeing right now. The chair on the right is a great take on a mid-century influenced style. The bold print and angular shape are the perfect combination.

Sofa’sFurniture3

Although it may seem like a risky choice, we think bold sofa’s are an instant way to create vibrancy in a room. Sofa’s are such grounding pieces, why not go all out? Choosing a bright colour like the pink of the left is a great choice for a minimal style like this one. The colour could be toned down by adding an array of neutral pillows. The gilded sofa on the right is a great opportunity for a DIY. We think you could do a gold option like this one, or paint the trim a bright colour.

DesksFurniture 2

These two desks are great space savers for the home. The left desk is a compact, functional option for smaller living. The desk space is big enough for a laptop, and has great nooks for storage. The right desk is perfect for a slightly bigger home. We love that it has so many shelves to house files, desk accessories, and a computer.

StorageFurniture4

The coloured option on the left is such a great piece! We love the idea of updating furniture you already own with an array of paint colours like this one. The colours are pale enough that they don’t create distractions for the eye. This would work as a TV console, or credenza! The right storage unit is so clean and simple. The light wood and white pair perfectly, and would add a lot of brightness to a room.

These daring pieces inspire us to keep searching for the perfect additions to the home. Which pieces are your favourite?
