Flüff News: Vancouver Housing Market in 2013

< inspo home

Happy New Year! We are really excited about 2013 and the potential for growth in the Vancouver housing and real estate market. Already there are some interesting projections about where we are headed in the next few months.

We read a really interesting article in the Vancouver Sun by Anne McMullin, the president and CEO of the Urban Development Institute. Here are some of the key points from her article.

The most interesting projection is for an increase in sales in the metro Vancouver area,  meaning a rebound from last years drop. It is also reported that there will be more growth in new housing projects. We were also interested to learn that Richmond, and Vancouver’s west side will continue to rise in sales while downtown, Langley and Cloverdale will remain steady. Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody are recommended as affordable areas for people who are looking to enter the market.

So for those of us interested in what happens in the Vancouver housing market we can look forward to a busy and exciting 2013. A positive start to a new year!

We look forward to working with you on all of your projects,

The Flüffians
