Copper in the Home

< inspo home

For so many years chrome and brushed nickle were in trend. We love that rose gold, copper, brass, and other warm metals are in style these days. They soften contemporary interiors, and polish off vintage ones! Here’s our favourite ways to use copper in the home.copper header

We love the look of grouping a few copper pieces together, or mixing copper with other metals. There are many DIY opportunities with copper, such as the planters in the middle image. Copper is a softer metal which makes it easier to work with. Piping can be cut down to create things like table bases, planters, hanging clothing racks, etc. We also love how copper and brass age over time. They look great for years to come, instead of tarnishing like many silver metals.

Copper furniture is so unique! It adds a lot of interest to a room. The mid-century influenced chair on the left looks great with the copper legs. We’ve seen some Eames Eiffel chairs with brass and copper bases which we absolutely love. We like that the table on the right has a polished finish because of the glass on top. Copper adds a grounding feeling to a room – hooray for copper!

We’ve also seen some great oversized pendants as well. We especially love copper and pink combined together like in the first image!

We hope copper and mixing metals is a long-lasting trend. We can’t wait to order some copper pieces here at Fluff. Will you be renting or purchasing copper for your homes too?
