Weekend Recap

With all of these sunshine-filled days Vancouver has been having, we’ve been trying to get out and explore the most we can! Here’s a weekend recap:

The free Andy Warhol exhibition is a must-see! There are so many iconic pieces to see. My favourites were the ones sprinkled with real diamond dust! This is an extensive collection, and free to view.

There’s a film set in between Gastown and Railtown that has an amazing old Pontiac Grand-Prix! We’re not sure how long it will be there – but sure worth a look! They didn’t mind us popping into the set for a photo.

Brunch at Heirloom is always great idea! They have juice specials from their stand-alone Heirloom Juice Co just around the corner on South Granville. This was a green juice made from kale, cucumber, pineapple, green apple, and soda water. The soda water is unexpected but very delicious.

There’s nothing better than to end a weekend with food from Topanga Café. This is hands-down the best Mexican in Vancouver. The food is all fresh and hearty. The portions definitely leave enough for next days lunch. They are accommodating to gluten-free and vegan diets as well!

In true interior designer fashion, we spotted some great detailing in the bathroom of Dunbar Theatre. We love the colour combo in this retro theatre’s bathroom. We wonder what the men’s room looks like!?

We had an action packed weekend, full of sunshine, beaches, photo-taking and eating. What did all of you do this past weekend?
