The Flüffians will travel in search of inspiration. At the moment Jordan is in Asia soaking up some culture and re-energizing. Jordan looks for design everywhere and she sent us pictures from her trip. In Japan Jordan discovered a great design store called Unico. We love mid century modern and lots of texture so naturally we were inspired!

The Design

In this post we are trying our own version of the Unico look. We love how it turned out! It’s not a typical “Flüff” look but it’s satisfying to see that our inventory can pull off a global vibe. Thanks for the inspo Jordan, keep it coming!!

This mauve sofa from Gus Modern is a staff favourite. It can be tricky to style a coloured sofa but we went for it and added texture and pattern with the pillows and rug. Because the room has high ceilings and bright white walls we can be more eclectic. It might have looked a bit bananas in a smaller space but in this case it really sings.

This season it is all about having fun with materials and mixing up patterns and colours.

Pro Tip:

A great place to start if you want to try a more eclectic style is with white walls and lots of natural light. If you keep the space light and bright, it keeps a calm vibe when you add fun and funky items.
