With this space, we wanted to have pieces with a luxurious feel that wouldn’t break the bank. This ever-popular Moroccan styled rug is being sold for quite a lot from most retailers. We were able to do some selective searching to find one at a great price. Remember that mixing brass pieces with soft textiles always makes a space look luxe.

This space used big furniture, which can be very costly. We found budget versions of the pieces, but had to be open to other designs. The TV stand and side chair aren’t identical to the inspiration image, but, we feel they cater to the look while keeping the cost low.

Mid-century doesn’t have to be expensive! Buy prints from Etsy, plants from Ikea, and soft goods from affordable retailers. It can seem daunting to order furniture online not having seen and tried it in person, but most sites have detailed photos, measurements, and loads of customer reviews to help you.

Now we have to ask, which look is your favourite?
