I have always wanted to renovate a 50’s rancher. Well I got my wish. The new/old house has good bones but very dated. It situated on a slope-away lot – the lower level is at grade so no room in the house feels “basementy”. The house had been treated with kid gloves but decorating was definitely not on the previous owners “must do” list. It is alway good to not have to undo someone else’s reno.
