After months of searching we finally found a house. Our initial plan was to find a new house on a small lot but we soon discovered that this scenario was nearly impossible to create. New houses of course are built to the maximum FSR (Floor Space Ratio). Hence, everything we looked at was 5000 sq. ft or larger. Considering we are down to 1 kid at home that seemed a bit ridiculous. So instead we got an older house on a large lot. (I am probably one of the few people that loves to renovate) We will see if that holds true in a few months. And how fun! I have my design posse at work to share this exciting project.
