We met with the architect that is doing our drawings for us. Although some of it was interesting, I must confess I glazed over in the parts about heating, trusses, and electrical panels. (Just make it work!) But re-working bathroom layouts, adding skylights and extending the deck space. Now we are talking! He had some really good suggestions.

The demolition crew came on site yesterday. They are ready to start ripping things apart! I was concerned about adding pots lights (and I want lots of them) to the ceiling – lath and plaster! If any one has worked with it before you know how awful that can be. Loved their suggestion – rip the entire ceiling, walls etc. out and start fresh. That way we can add whatever we want. We take possession Dec. 9. The hammers will be swinging Dec. 10.
