Chelsea has been working hard giving some of our dining room chairs a facelift! She has re-upholstered these in a lovely grey tweed. She starts by removing the seat from the frame, and carefully removes the dust cover to save for re-use, she then removes the old fabric by pulling the staples out of the seat base. Y0u’re now ready to stretch the new fabric over the seat and staple in place, be sure to staple opposite sides and work you way towards the corners. Folding the fabric nicely at the corners will prevent the fabric from appearing bunchy. Replace the dust cover, reattach the seat and voila, a new chair! Chelsea is using some fabric we had leftover from a custom sofa to give these chairs a new life.
