I love sharing news about new businesses I come across.  This weekend Rick and I found this fabulous new butcher shop on Arbutus near 16thPETE’S MEAT BUTCHER SHOP AND DELI.  They offer an amazing selection of organic and natural meats and deli products. They make their own sausages (a smoker is their next purchase), free range and non-medicated and they are really nice guys with a passion for their business. Pete is a butcher by trade and Dylan is a chef. They both obviously have a love for food. The atmosphere is pristinely clean and inviting. (I love that they laid their white subway tiles vertically and not the predictable horizontal fashion) If you haven’t treated yourself to meat from a butcher, give it a try. You will be amazed at the difference in flavour!
