Re-Flüff ~ The evolution of a chair

< inspo home

One of the main things I love about the Flüffians is that we are all quite conscientious about being “green”.   We reuse whenever possible; paper, bubble wrap, packing boxes and even shipping pallets. (Have you seen Shane’s handy work?)  The most impressive though is how we can give our furniture a whole new look.  It’s amazing what upholstery and paint can do!

This amazing chair “before and after” was performed by a former employee of ours and someone we intend to continue a close relationship with. Chelsea Hoehn was a valuable Flüff designer but her first love was re-purposing old furniture and giving it new life. She has now moved into her own business where she focuses on upholstery and wall coverings. We highly recommend her skills if you are intent on giving an old piece of furniture a new lease on life. Chelsea can be reached by email at chelseahohn@gmail.com or by phone at 778-387-4340

Here’s another piece of furniture that turned 180 degrees with a fresh coat of paint. You can see how scratched up this console table was. The bright new white fits perfectly into a modern, contemporary home. The look is perfect for summer staging projects.
