This beautiful open loft located in the core of Gastown was a dream to stage. The character of the brick walls combined with the openness of the space created the perfect balance of contemporary style with a rustic touch. The brick was the main inspiration for our design but also required careful consideration because we couldn’t hang a headboard or art on it. In the bedroom we decided to actually use the brick as the headboard because it really would have been a shame to cover it up. In order to utilize the wall space we embraced the elongated layout by including a bar-style setting – perfect for entertaining. This allowed us to use the rest of the space as one large living area, further emphasizing our initial vision of creating a spacious loft setting. Our color story consisted of blue and orange to compliment the natural surfaces throughout the loft.
