Rick & I went through an incredible open house on the weekend. It’s located at the top of St. Mary’s and sits on an acre of Stanley Park-like setting. The house itself is just over 6500 sq. ft. and has additional interesting out buildings. The realtor, Eric Rasmussen, was telling us that it was built in 1926 as a hunting lodge. It has been impeccably well preserved and the details are so incredible. Although large in scale, it has a warm and intimate feel. If you have an opportunity, try to see it at the next open (Don’t wait too long though; it is well priced and I’m sure it will sell quite quickly). It really is breathtaking.
