The 9^th annual Interior Design Show West will be happening this weekend Sept.19-22 at the Vancouver Convention Centre showcasing the best in interior design from designers all over the world. This is the go-to event of the year, a meeting place for industry insiders and design savvy minds alike. This show not only appeals to trade professionals but also to the general public. Learn about all the newest trends and check out up and coming Canadian designers.

Designers from the Interior Designers Institute of BC will be on hand offering free 10 minute consultations for your next project.  Be sure to attend one of the many interesting presentations by various keynote speakers. One to note would be Kate Deck’s presentation on the Evolution of Design taking place this Saturday at 5pm. Bid on the H & L laneway house, a  516 square-foot custom home built by Alair Homes valued at $500,000. Or, if art and shopping is more your thing, be sure to check out The District, featuring artisans selling artwork, handmade jewellery, fashion, and unique home décor items.
