Most people feel that garden fences are uninteresting but I think that a fence can make your property stand out.  Developers and home builders are paying a lot more attention to exteriors in order to attract buyers and are coming up with new unique, sleek designs.

If you are willing to customize your fence there are many different styles available that are worth the extra money. Top grade cedar or clear cedar are a good material of choice since they resist well in wet conditions and will last for years.  Be aware when asking for a quote to clarify exactly the grade of cedar because some contractors will often build with lower grade materials if not specified on the estimate.
