Rick & I had a wonderful mini vacation in Portland recently.  While I was away Isabel was preparing a blog post for Flüff about the significance of Pendleton in fashion right now.  Little did I know that the head office and woolen mills for Pendleton are in Portland.  I couldn’t believe how many places I saw this unique and wonderful fabric. 

Pendleton has teamed up with Doc Martens shoes and created an entire collection.  The distinctive style of “Docs” marries well with these fabrics. 

The Pendleton home décor store was something to experience.  The blankets are amazing!  Our own HBC blankets were there too.  It was interesting to discover that Pendleton has been making the HBC blankets since 1890. 

There was furniture, blankets, clothing, bags and home décor accessories – all with a distinctive look.  I loved the jar candle that comes with a little pack of matches.
