Runs January 17 to February 2, 2014 at various restaurants across the city.
Tired of turkey? Not into cooking? Looking to try new restaurants? Want to eat out on a budget? Well then you should definitely check out the Dine Out Vancouver Festival. Hundreds of restaurants are participating throughout the city and across the lower mainland. Presented by Tourism Vancouver, the Dine Out Vancouver event started in 2002 and has been busting the post-Christmas blues ever since.
With 3 different price-point prix-fixe menus there is something for everyone. There are $18 menus, $28 menus, and $38 menus. Most set menus include an appetizer, an entrée, and a dessert. Some have 4 or 5 courses. You can check out all the restaurants and their menu options on the Dine Out Vancouver site.
In addition to dining at your favorite restaurant, Tourism Vancouver is also showcasing a variety of events to coincide with this year’s food lover’s festival. You can take a guided dining adventure or a culinary and cocktail tour, take a unique cooking class, go for some wine and beer tasting, or check out the street food market. Some hotels are even offering special stay and dine rates. All the information on restaurants, events, and hotels is available on their website.
This is your chance to try that expensive restaurant you’ve always wanted to but could not afford, or just experience something new for your taste buds. Be sure to make reservations beforehand as many restaurants get booked up well in advance. Express your inner foodie!
