Hi again! So the other day we had a tragedy. One of our lovely sleek and contemporary glass and chrome coffee tables broke into a million pieces.

But “waste not, want not” Grandma always says!
Because this is tempered glass and the broken glass pieces are small I figured they’d be perfect for vase and bowl filler. They were still sharp, however, and needed to be dulled down a bit first.
So I found a canning jar, put a teaspoon of sand in it with the pieces of glass, and shook the jar for a couple solid minutes. After all the sharp edges were dulled, I washed and strained the pieces. Lastly I picked out the small bits and let them dry on a towel.
And the results are AWESOME!
