Happy Monday!

Austin Kleon describes himself as a “writer who draws”. He is a poet and an author who has written several books including one of my favourite books called “Steal Like An Artist” where he encourages creative people to take inspiration from many sources and make something of their own.

It’s a quick yet inspirational read if you’re ever feeling inadequate about your skills or that you won’t ever be as talented as those around you.

One of my favourite quotes from Kleon is, “If you ever find that you’re the most talented person in the room, you need to find another room.” This quote inspires one to be surrounded by people of whom you can learn from. Challenge yourself to continuously improve and learn from others.

Always grow.
