We love decorating kid’s rooms here at Fluff! They can be bright, quirky, and have many fun elements. We’ve picked 4 of our favourite options for modern kid’s room decor.
1. BuntingWe love the use of bunting to highlight an area of a kid’s room. It’s playful and adds so much interest! We like the idea of adding text on the flags, like in the left image.
2. Shared RoomsWe think shared rooms are practical, and adorable! It can be tricky to combine looks for two kid’s in one space, but we like what was done in these images. The left image uses different sizes of the same print, and the right image created a neutral space that would be great for boys and girls.
3. Permanent FortWhy no set up a permanent fort for a kid’s room!? There are many options available on the market, but this would be a simple DIY too. Adding a pile of pillows creates a cozy feel, and can be a combination of many prints and colours.
4. Wall DecalsWe are such huge fans of wall decals here at Fluff. They are a great temporary option to completely transform the look of a space. We think kid’s spaces can get away with the fun decal options out there. We love the repeat prints in these images. The triangles on the left match the Navajo/geometric pillows, and the polka dots on the right add an element of interest by mixing prints.
What do you think of these options for modern kid’s room decor?
