This week’s Spring colour feature was Pantone Tangerine! Inspired by the tropical feel of this punchy colour, I chose elements that created a relaxing, bright space! It’s like being on a permanent stay-cation!I started with the feature pieces – the bright orange Eames Eiffel Chairs. I wanted the look to have a graphic feel, so I added in a black rug, a white table for contrast, and the art. My personal decorating style is full of mixed prints, fabrics and textures. I wanted to bring that into this look but a simplified version, more suited to staging! I did this by adding in a throw and pillow in different colours, both in a houndstooth print to make it look cohesive. Of course the oversize palm leaves added to this tropical look. Just add a space heater and a piña colada to create your stay-cation home!
