As we mentioned in our post last week, we are loving winter textiles. Today we’re showing our favourite fabric in our Fall trends forecast – velvet!

Velvet looks great in rich jewel tones like navy, emerald, ruby red, and purple. We’ve also seen velvet furniture available in pastel colours, and we are loving it!

We created a Polyvore board around this beautiful pale blue, tufted sofa. We wanted to create a modern, luxurious space. The furs, chrome, and glass accents add a luxe feel. The art tied in the blue and gold tones. We wanted to keep this space fun and added details like an ice-cream cone pillow!

This space features soft pink and grey and has a mid-century feel, with an updated twist. We love the idea of pairing an oversized occasional chair with a bean bag. It softens the look a lot!

We love the colour of these side chairs! For this space we wanted to create a seated nook by a window. We went for an updated traditional look. It looks more modern with the use of bright colours, and fun accents like the skull, the skin, and the wall art.

These bright, colourful spaces are perfect! The graphic art and cushions on the left add so much interest! The pairing of blue and yellow in the right look amazing with the aged leather.
