We have many September birthday’s at Fluff, which has got us thinking about modern party decor! From drinks to decor, here’s how to decorate your party.

We know how stressful party planning can be. We wanted to break the process down into some key steps and things to think about.

It’s important to think about a theme for a party. We love this bohemian decor, originally seen here. Some key pieces above are sheepskins, antlers, brass decor, and all-white flowers. You could choose a fun theme like “tropical”, where people could dress up in printed clothes, and drink from pineapples (so trendy!).

We love these bold black and white spaces. Adding a pop of gold softens the contemporary look. Adding in a single colour would also look great here.

You can really get away with over-the-top designs at parties. These paper geo shapes and poufs would be great DIY projects.

We love, love, love anything tassel-like for a party. It adds a touch of glamour, and a lot of fun.

How adorable are these candy bars? Depending on the size of your party, you can display any amount of sweets. Doing a candy bar is an inexpensive way to feed some guests.

The fresh baking placed on different sized stands creates interest. We love these oversized balloons too!

We like having a spread of food to share family style. It’s a great way to create a comfortable social environment. Nothing more awkward than bumping elbows with strangers at a dinner table!
