Our Studio@Fluff leader, Lisa Zak, recently spent one week in Toronto, ON. Here’s some of her favourite pit-stops that you should see too!
Toronto is one of the most fun Canadian cities. There’s a new place opening every week, and tons of fun neighbourhoods to explore.
Lisa found some great stops at Kensington Market. Being that a new place opens every week, there are many oddly specific places like the Toronto Popcorn Company (which is delicious). She also spotted some wild veggies. The hats belong to a great shop called the “Saucy Milliner” which is 20 minutes away from Kensington, closer to the water!
Speaking of water, a must-see is Toronto Islands. Here you can find boat clubs, an amusement park and sandy beaches. It’s mostly car-free, and only accessible by boat. Once you’re there, you can catch a flight from Billy Bishop Airport. The third image is from the AGO First Thursday Party, where a party commences on the first Thursday of each month. Expect live music and dancing!
And what’s a vacation without high tea!? Lisa and a couple of her friends visited the Park Hyatt in Yorkville. We can’t wait to try this too!
We always love visiting Toronto for the yearly tradeshow, but we think a separate trip is in order! Listening to live music, eating chocolate, and hat-buying sound right up our alley. Who’s coming with!?
