Countless blooms are available in Spring and Summer. But you’ll be shocked by which ones are available in winter! Here are the blooms to buy in December.

Alstromeria

Alstromeria’s are commonly seen in orange and red tones, but we love them in soft pink and lilac colours. Especially when paired with light coloured greens like in the right image. These stems are very durable and will last a long time.

Calla Lily 

Calla lilies are one of the most minimally beautiful flowers. They have a variety of meanings, each dependent on the colour you choose.  We like them paired with other types of lilies like in the right image. Fun fact: Calla lily roots are poisonous!

Delphinium

These are one of our favourite flowers. These flowers are available most of the year, and can be styled in a variety of ways. They have quite a romantic feel, but when paired with olive or eucalyptus branches they look very different.

Gardenia

Gardenia’s signify purity and sweetness which is no surprise as they are so fragrant. These flowers look stunning paired with an abundant amount of greens, and other white flowers.

Gerbera

Gerbera’s are a readily available and affordable flower. We love them paired up with all-white flowers to create a luxurious feel.

Lily

Lillies do great in the winter time. They last longer than most cut flowers, which makes them a great choice for those cold winter months.

Lisianthus

We included 4 images of lisianthus flowers because they’re our absolute favourites! They come in a bounty of colours and work with any style of bouquet. We love them paired with the purple cabbage stalk. These flowers are a bit more delicate and expensive, but they look gorgeous.

Poppy

These aren’t your traditional poppies! Often seen in their typical red and orange colour, this white with dark center option is stunning. All-white ones like in the right image are also a great filler flower option.

Rose

Roses are very strong stem to have in a bouquet and represents purity, innocence, and humility. They are often used in weddings, or to give to friends. We absolutely love the wintery bouquet in the right image. We can’t wait to try this!
