As some of you may know, the marketing department is spreading out! Here’s what I plan on doing for my last weekend in Vancouver, BC.
I’ll be doing some posts from Australia, my new home base! But for now, let’s recap my favourite places in Vancouver that I’m excited to visit for the last time.
STANLEY PARK
This breathtaking park is hands-down the best site to see in Vancouver. Weather you walk or bike the seawall, or dine at one the waterfront restaurants, this is a top of the list activity to do.
GRANVILLE ISLAND
Even though Granville Island is full of tourists, it is a great spot to grab some coffee and baked goods, and take in the view. Make sure to stop at Lee’s Donuts and The Market Grill.
THE NARROW LOUNGE
This teensy tiny bar is one of the coolest places in Vancouver to grab a drink. The bustling atmosphere, to the extensive list of drinks, and colourful outdoor patio make this place special.
REVOLVER COFFEE
Grabbing a cup of coffee from our favourite local shop, Revolver, is high up on the list of things to do before moving. Their excellent brews and decor bring a crowd of dedicated customers.
OLYMPIC VILLAGE
And, of course, a pit stop at Earnest is necessary. They have great vegan and dairy options – something for everyone! Take a walk through Olympic Village and catch the sunset.
33 ACRES
If the sun decides to come out, you can find me at the 33 Acres patio! Soak up sun and sip some locally brewed beers.
RENNIE ART GALLERY
The Rennie Gallery is filled with boundary pushing art and is a beautiful space all in itself. The light and bright gallery is magnificent. Be sure to register before hand for a visit!
These are my favourite ways to spend a weekend in Vancouver, BC. Have you visited all the spots on the list!?
