A must, must, must see in Melbourne is St. Kilda, a beach-side borough filled with art, great coffee, and stunning scenery.
Now that things are getting more settled, we’re getting out there and seeing all that Melbourne has to offer. This week we went to St. Kilda! It’s still unreal to us that we’re living somewhere where palm trees grow wild.
And giant cacti! The perfect backdrop to any portrait, really! We found tons of fun photo spots while walking around this borough. We had THE best coffee from i25 Espresso Bar.
This pastel coloured skate park is right along the beach in St. Kilda! We stopped for a great view of the ocean. The skateboarders weren’t too sore on the eyes either.
As it’s still winter here, the beach was basically empty. Come summer, it’s apparently packed like a sardine can. Come early to get a spot!
Zhaleh and her stunning eyes really popped against this giant palm tree.
Of course, if you’re heading down to St. Kilda, you must stop at Luna Park! This mid-size amusement park gives great views of the city.
This charming area feels like a mix of Santa Monica, Miami, and Portland. Leave a full day for enjoying this area – there’s tons to see!
